Cruise Description

You'll begin your vacation by learning about the longtime holiday traditions found around Basel, Switzerland. We'll visit the Läckerli Huus—home of traditional spice cookies—and the largest Christmas market in the country. You'll then discover Alsace dressed up to the nines for the holidays! You'll visit the medieval village of Riquewihr, the magic of Little Venice in Colmar, and Strasbourg's Christmas market and its giant tree. Enticing smells and delicious flavors mix perfectly with the friendly atmosphere found under the festive lights.

Day 1
You'll board our ship. We'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail.

Day 2
Let your sweet tooth go wild with a visit to the Lackerli Huus. We'll spend the afternoon cruising to Breisach. Learn how to make traditional Alsatian Christmas cookies on board. An evening of Christmas tales.

Day 3
A full-day escapade to local Christmas markets (lunch included).

Day 4
Disembarkation.You'll be transferred to the city center.Visit the Christmas market at your own pace.At 1:30 p.m., return transfer to the Croisieurope River Station.
